Big storm Smash China, 26 killed

Storms in central and southern China resulted in 26 people dead and 10 others missing.

Xinhua news agency reported, Monday (26/05/2014).

In Guangding province, 15 people have been killed since last Wednesday and five were lost due to the storm.

The government has sent a disaster response team and other raw materials to the affected area as part of responding to emergencies in the area.

While in Hunan, seven people were killed and three others were missing.
While in Guizhou Province, four people have been confirmed dead.

In Jiangxi Province, a rescuer who died after a boat capsized in a river used when searching for a college student.
